Therapist learn quick scan tests to detect dysfunction in the musculoskeletal system and 45 Jones Counterstrain treatment techniques for the foot and ankle, knee, pelvis, sacrum, coccyx, spine, thoracic cage and clavicle. Day 3 shifts to a myofascial chain model with additional quick scan tests to identify myofascial dysfunction and an additional 35 Jones Counterstrain treatment techniques to alter myofascial tone imbalances to create lasting reduction of local and remote pain.

On the second module, day 1 covers a viscero-fascial approach with quick scan tests to identify dysfunction in the body’s “central tendon” and how this connects to the myofascial system. Therapists will learn 25 Fascial Counterstrain  treatment techniques to alter visceral dysfunction and it’s associated musculoskeletal pain. Really great informative course that has provided me with a range of new assessment and treatment options for multiple systems in the body.
The cranial section and screening tools are particularly helpful for more complex patients that aren’t responding to traditional or popular approaches.
I liked having the 6 days split into 2 modules to allow some time to practise and refine skills between sessions.
Would highly recommend Haydn to anybody looking to forward their expertise in the manual therapy field

I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 x 3 day courses, the course was primarily hands on which was great having so much practical time
The pre-reading was very relevant and thorough. Pre/post assessments helped enforce the amazing outcomes that Counterstrain can achieve.
Haydn was a fantastic trainer. Overall, the course covered a vast amount of assessment and treatment strategies and I am very excited to take this knowledge and further my manual therapy career and pursue further training
