Host a Course

Thanks for your interest in hosting our two day Assessment & Counterstrain Treatment Intro course. Previous hosts of this course include Nuffield Health in the UK and Back in Motion in Adelaide. The Intro course is currently taught in all mainland states of Australia but can be hosted in other locations where hosts organise and share the responsibilities to run the course. The general outline of course responsibilities for both Manual Therapy Institute and the host facility can be viewed below. Manual Therapy Institute’s course fee is negotiated with the host based on host responsibilities, student numbers and the course location.

Manual Therapy Institutes responsibilities:

  • Provide qualified Instructors and teaching assistants as required.
  • Provide each registered attendee with a course manual and a certificate of completion.
  • Process registrations and payments of course attendees or allow the host to do this and pay MTI an agreed fee.

Host Facility responsibilities:

  • Market and promote the course.
  • Provide a location suitable to hold a two day course with with up to 24 attendees with two people working at each treatment table.
  • Provide treatment tables with appropriate padding.
  • Provide simple snacks and beverages for scheduled breaks.  A “break food & beverage recommendation & schedule” form will be provided to hosts.
  • AV equipment: A data projector and a screen/ surface to project onto.
